Our History
2015
Connexa Capital's formation dates back to 2015, when the founding team and original LP group began investing together in private companies through special purpose vehicles, leveraging their experience as successful founders and executives to partner with management teams and drive value creation.
2023
After building a strong track record with multiple successful exits, Connexa’s Founder and Managing Partner, Jonathan Beda, institutionalized the strategy by launching Connexa Capital and raising its first committed venture capital fund, focused on Seed to Series B investments
2025
Connexa Capital expanded into private equity, pursuing control buyouts of lower middle market services companies and partnering with its network of seasoned executives to drive operational improvements and long-term growth.

Jonathan is responsible for sourcing investment opportunities, executing new transactions, and supporting portfolio companies. Previously, Jonathan led AB Investment Group, a venture capital syndicate that generated top quartile returns with investments such as Home Chef (sold to Kroger) and Halo Cars (sold to Lyft). Jonathan also served as CEO and now serves as Board Director at Zumbini, an early childhood education company spun out of Zumba Fitness offering music and movement classes for babies and toddlers. Jonathan received a B.B.A. from the Goizueta Business School at Emory University.

Associate
Taha is an Associate at Connexa, primarily focused on sourcing and evaluating investment opportunities, and providing operating support to portfolio companies. Before joining Connexa, Taha was an analyst in the healthcare investment banking group at Barclays. Prior to Barclays, Taha spent time at BuildGroup and Houlihan Lokey. Taha graduated from The University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor's Degree in Finance. On campus, he founded the Philanthropy Investment Team, a program that allocates capital to 501(c)(3) organizations with the highest social impact.

Troy Rosales

Associate
Troy is an Associate at Connexa, primarily focused on sourcing and evaluating investment opportunities, as well as providing operating support to portfolio companies. Before joining Connexa, Troy was a private equity associate at Platinum Equity. Prior to Platinum Equity, Troy worked in investment banking at Houlihan Lokey in the Business Services group and at Presidio Technology Partners covering automotive SaaS verticals. Troy graduated from Cornell University with a Bachelor of Science in Applied Economics and Management.
